Get small. Think big.

Seth Godin, author of Purple Cow, recently wrote Small is the new big in the context of companies. Small has always had its advantages, and I’ve always seen small to medium sized companies as ideal for all the reasons Seth mentions. However, small should be getting a lot of attention right now, especially small Internet companies. Adaptive Path recently wrote It’s a Whole New Internet. Sure, small companies have always been a source of innovation, but lately it seems like ideas are flowing much easier than before… and it’s funny, to me it all started when blogging started getting popular. Coincidence?
