The first SuperHappyDevHouse is scheduled for Saturday, May 14th at the SuperHappyFunHouse.
What is SuperHappyDevHouse?
SuperHappyDevHouse is an event for hackers and developers to socialize and, more importantly, share ideas in the context of development and creating new things. This event will lean mostly towards web development, but all kinds of software developers are welcome. We want to cross pollinate. It’s half fun and half business, and it should be an excellent networking opportunity.
You could think of SuperHappyDevHouse as an all-night hackfest. Come work on your personal projects; this is an excuse to do it. Maybe you’ll learn about new technologies or methodoligies. Maybe you’l find people interested in working on that project with you. Maybe you and others will form an idea for something that you could easily prototype together that night. If not, the environment is fun and productive, just what you need to get your work done solo.
It is a social event, so unwind and have a few drinks. Enjoy a movie about hacking or development (Anti-Trust anyone?) on the big screen. Sit and discuss technology and ideas on nice couches. Take up a spot at a table and work on that project of yours. Free wireless Internet is provided, of course.
It will be a night of deving, hacking and fun…
